NF-1 MISSION OUTLINE

U.S. intel reports that a high valued target in the war on terror (Borndead) is believed to be setting up a terrorist training camp somewhere in the Saco river valley. Due to the heavily wooded area, we have been unable to confirm this intel with satellites and/or predator drone flights. The senate arms committee is requiring hard evidence that this training camp exists before it will make the funds available to the pentagon for any large scale operation to take place.

After repeated attempts to obtain aerial photos without success, we have no choice but to send in a special operations team without the approval of the committee. Because of the mission's secrecy, your team's whereabouts will be unknown and any acknowledgment of this mission will be denied. If you choose to accept this mission, you do so knowing you will not have the full support of the U.S. armed forces.

Mission

1. The team will be flown by UH-60 black hawks into the Saco river valley under the disguise of a routine training mission.

2. After whiskey company reaches the drop zone, you will have to meet up with a friendly local named Moses. He will then take you by riverboat to the area that we believe is the location of the training camp.

3. Once in, you must recon the area and gather intel on the training camp.

(a) Find the location of the training camp
(b) Gather intel on weapons capabilities
(c) Troop strength
(d) Type of training the camp provides.
(e) Move to extraction point. (to be determined as needed)

NF-2 MISSION OUTLINE

For the past several weeks Haliban propaganda videos have surfaced featuring Haliban fighters dragging the dead bodies of what appears to be American soldiers through their villages. The videos feature a prominent Haliban leader named Lil' Kiko. In these videos Lil' Kiko brags about how his superior Haliban forces repelled a major assault on Hollisthan. "Death to all that oppose the Haliban! This is the fate of all infidel dogs! Hollisthan streets will run red with the blood of the infidels!" All of these things can be heard in these propaganda videos. The United States has denied any involvement and does not acknowledge that these are their soldiers. Secretly however, some now know the fate of a special forces recon mission to the area. Subsequent to this more information has been gathered regarding the Haliban leader Lil' Kiko. He is known throughout Hollisthan for his ability to inspire, lead, and train. His charismatic personality pushes his men to fight to the death. He has gathered much power within the Haliban and it is thought that if he were eliminated it could create a power vacuum within the Haliban ranks.

This turn of events is not viewed kindly by the U.S. military. Some of the higher ups at the pentagon want this particular group silenced. SF team once again must act outside of the approval of the senate arms committee. As with the last mission because of the mission's secrecy, your team's whereabouts will be unknown and any acknowledgment of this mission will be denied. If you choose to accept this mission you do so knowing you will not have the full support of the U.S. armed forces.

With the extraction of the P.O.W. and Intel gathered by the U.S. Special forces, the pentagon has provided the Senate Arms Comity with enough proof that the Holliban is now operating out of Hollistan. The president has issued an ultimatum to the government of Hollisthan to hand over the leaders of the Holliban or face a U.S. invasion within one month. The Hollisthan government has denied that the Holliban are operating in there country leaving the president no choice but to mobilize the U.S. armed forces for a large scale invasion of Hollisthan.
